Nicholas Kerns, DDS

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Nicholas Kerns (Dr. Nick), is the proud owner of Columbus Pediatric Dentistry. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University and proceeded to obtain a Master’s of Science degree at Case Western Reserve University. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, cum laude, at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Kerns completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he still serves part time as an attending doctor overseeing the dental clinic. In 2015, he achieved Board Certification and Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Outside of his professional career, Dr. Kerns leads a very active life. He enjoys running, road biking, golf, tennis, cooking, and swimming. Dr. Nick and his wife, Jordanna, live in Upper Arlington with their two daughters. He is passionate about giving back to the community and has been involved in multiple community service projects and organizations including Operation Smile, the Special Olympics, and the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. In addition, he provides free dental care to the local underserved community through KidSMILES and Give Kids a Smile.

Meet Dr. CaAdrian Taylor!

Joining our practice in July of 2022, Dr. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC.

After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN, in 2015, she completed her pediatric dental residency at Miami Children’s Hospital (now Nicklaus Children’s Hospital) in Miami, FL. Dr. Taylor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Taylor’s gentle and friendly approach are only a few of the reasons why she is so loved by her patients. We are so lucky to have her as one of our pediatric dentists!

Meet Dr. Fabiola Casanova Cardona!

Dr. Fabi was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She is bilingual; fluent in Spanish and English. In 2015, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico. In 2019 she finished her Dentistry degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine where she graduated Cum Laude. Furthermore, she continued to expand her career and education by completing two years of residency at The Ohio State University. She is passionate about serving and treating special needs patients along with the pediatric population.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, Francisco, and their Goldendoodle, Woody. She enjoys sports, especially baseball, and on her time off she likes exercising, running, and snowboarding during the winter.

Meet Dr. Banafsheh Jolousjamshidi!

Dr. Bana completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience from Bowling Green State University. Following this, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 2015 and pursued a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at the same institution. Further specializing, she completed a Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Toledo.

She has a deep passion for pediatric dentistry and finds great joy in working closely with children to improve their oral health. Beyond her professional life, she enjoys spending time outdoors and has a passion for travel.
